The Historic Chicago Bungalow Association
registry is an archival record established by the nonprofit Historic Chicago
Bungalow Association (HCBA) to preserve the architectural integrity and
beauty of the Chicago Bungalow.
Home certification is free and without restrictions required by the registered or subsequent bungalow owner. The HCBA will review the application, along with the front and rear photo of the home. Upon approval of certification, the homeowner will receive a membership card entitling them to the benefits offered through the Historic Chicago Bungalow Initiative. Processing the application takes approximately 2-3 weeks.
