Whether you’ve never gone or never miss it, there’s another great reason to visit this year’s Chicago Flower & Garden Show—the Chicago Bungalow Association will be there as an official collaborator!
On March 18-26 at Navy Pier, we will be featured in NPL’s 811 Bungalow Garden designed by Christy Webber Landscapes. The garden will include a life-size bungalow façade, which visitors can walk through to arrive at a beautifully landscaped backyard.
Not only will it be an eye-catching showcase, but the garden delivers an important message—call before you dig! Homeowners gearing up for landscaping projects will be able to see the underground arteries of our neighborhoods revealed. It’s important to know what’s under our gardens—whether natural gas, electric, communication or water utility lines—and visitors will be reminded to call 811 before digging to find out.
Catch our staff and volunteers milling around the 811 Bungalow Garden or selling bungalow-themed gardening goods in the Home & Garden Marketplace.
